The Constitution
This conversation is governed by the COACT VentureOS Constitution. The seven principles below are not a manifesto. They are the frame every decision on this website answers to.
- 01
Institution before founder
The institution outlasts the individuals who steward it. Names change; the Constitution does not.
- 02
Clarity before persuasion
The visitor is a peer, not a lead. We do not ask for action before we have earned understanding.
- 03
Stewardship before service
We hold ventures in trust. Service is what a stewardship posture makes possible, not the other way around.
- 04
Sequence before speed
Ventures mature through stages that cannot be skipped. Sequence is the discipline that lets speed compound.
- 05
Governance before growth
Every venture is written into a governing frame before it is grown into a market.
- 06
Memory before novelty
The Chronicle remembers what we did and why. New decisions inherit from old ones - or they are made in ignorance.
- 07
Conditions before outcomes
We do not chase outcomes. We build the conditions under which the right outcomes become likely, then inevitable.
